Bove's driving philosophy of self-discipline and personal development lead to a very successful racing career. His 2000 season was his first full time Pro Racing commitment. He racked up a 2nd place at Texas in one of the toughest races of the year in 108 deg temperatures. The rest of the season was complimented by top ten finishes and several broken track records at tracks he had never visited before. After a full season in Speedvision World Challenge GT, Scott ended up runner up in the Rookie Championship and 11th overall. The 1999 18-race season, Bove racked up five pole-positions, eight wins, six podium finishes and four top fives. His impressive performances also lead to multiple records at tough tracks like Mid-Ohio Raceway and Watkins Glen. "My philosophy is simple but effective, arrive at the track well prepared, we test more than most of the other teams and we arrive on race day well prepared", said Bove. As an Engineer, setting up the car is natural for him. "I drive a race car like I run my business, smart and aggressive", In the 49 races in the 1998-2000 seasons I had only two DNF's (did not finish). That is amazing if you think of the stresses that a race car is under. It is all due to preparation and teamwork.

"We work well together," said Bove, "this is one of the main reasons why we have been so successful." We all compliment each other and there are no weak links."
The team is comprised of eight members of various backgrounds and responsibilities, two race cars, a two car transporter, a hospitality coach/canopy, and several track-side vehicles used for race support. Team Tech Motorsports works as a cohesive unit not only on race day, but all the time; constantly making preparations and alterations in order to better serve their sponsors and create a more efficient racing experience.
"There's a lot more to winning a race than just a good driver and a good car," said Team Engineer, Dave Pierson. "From the person that makes the hotel reservations to the person loading the trailer, we all have to work as a team to be a success."
Team Tech Motorsports does indeed work as a team, a team with more goals than just good racing
"We want to promote the sport of racing, at every level," said Team Marketing Director Gary Christopher. "We view ourselves as ambassadors for the sport and representatives of our sponsors."
As part of being a member of Team Tech Motorsports, the team also acts on behalf of their sponsors, making themselves available for promotional activities involving their sport. Should a sponsor wish to use one of the cars for an open house, a member of Team Tech can deliver the car and make themselves available to represent the team.
